The Liquid Automation Team has won 1 CEDIA Award for our work at Auckland City Council.

The award presented was for:

  • Best Documentation

Automation AwardIt has now been 11 out of 12 years that we have received an award in this category.


The Liquid Automation Team has won 2 CEDIA 2018 awards for our work on the 145 foot Sailing Yacht Hemisphere, a 5 man refit located in Cospicua, Malta.

The awards presented were for:

  • Best Marine, Auto, Aircraft
  • Technology Meets Design

MAY 2018

Liquid Automation have been featured in the June 2018 Issue of “Widescreen Custom home and Theater Design” Magazine out of the USA for our work on the award winning Melbourne home theater . Alloy Yachts International

Entertainment control for the Saloon, Owner’s Suite, 3 x Guest Cabins, Pilothouse, Fly Bridge, Aft Deck, Captain’s Cabin, Crew Cabins and Crew Mess.

The system allows the user easy access to multiple AV sources as well as the viewing of navigation systems, including a mast mounted PTZ Camera. These are viewable at multiple locations throughout the vessel.



Crestron controller with Pronto interfaces.

AV Matrix

Allows switching of 16 High Definition sources to 12 outputs.


Marantz home theatre systems are used for the Saloon and Sky Lounge. Denon DVD home theatre systems combined with SpeakerCraft in-ceiling speakers are used in Owner’s Cabin, 3 x Guest Cabins, Crew Cabin and Crew Mess. Marantz CR-401 CD radio units are used for the Pilothouse, Galley and Crew Cabins.

Navigation Matrix

The Sounder, Radar, Navnet, Nav PC, Comms PC, Seatouch, CCTV and Entertainment systems are all routed through a high definition matrix allowing direct selection from dedicated buttons on all bridge stations.


  • Ability to view navigation information such as Radar and Chart Plotter as well as the ships vital systems on all display screens throughout the vessel.
  • CCTV camera control in which the camera can be controlled using LCD touch screens on all video screens throughout the vessel.
  • Single-button muting of outside speakers for the Helmsman in times of emergency.
