CEDIA Member of Excellence

Liquid Automation are very proud to announce that we have received the CEDIA Member of Excellence award, the first New Zealand based company to receive it. The CEDIA Member of Excellence accolade is the highest designation a member company can achieve from the home technology industry’s only accrediting organization.

The CEDIA Member of Excellence Programme was founded in 2019 and continues to be the upmost award you can receive from CEDIA. As of 2021, there were only 14 Home Automation companies worldwide that have achieved this elite status.

CEDIA Member of Excellence is only given to CEDIA Advanced Members with a record of Award-Winning craftmanship, and a dedication to advanced industry certifications, it’s their way of making sure the best in the industry really do rise to the top.

The requirements are rigorous and require years of experience to achieve entry status. The requirements are the same as the Advanced Members Certification but with two additional portions. You must have been selected as a CEDIA Awards Winner or Finalist within the last three years from date of submission, and your business must have a percentage of all full-time technical staff hold at least one advanced CEDIA Certification (ESC-T, ESC-D, or ESC-N) based on company size.

Based on these requirements, the pool of companies that are within reach of this highly coveted accolade is very small and just shows how difficult it is to receive this industry-winning title.

The judging panel is very stringent and very thorough, and it is an enormous honor to be the first New Zealand company to have achieved this.
