Liquid Automation completed a large, systematic overhaul of the boat network.
Network
Bearer Selector / Router
Liquid Automation upgraded the bearer selector by replacing the entire old equipment with a Kerio box. The upgrade provides the ship owner a multilayer system of security, advanced bandwidth management, and improved user management and reporting features.
Wireless Network System
The old wireless network system was replaced with a Ruckus WLAN that includes 34 access points throughout the ship.
The upgrade particularly offers:

Backup wireless controllers
Wired Network
The old outdated and failing core switch was replaced with a 48G POE switch.
GSM Upgrade
To provide a better range and throughput for the GSM Radios, Liquid Automation installed 2 radios in the antenna complemented with a remote sim card injector housed in the rack.
Remote Monitoring System
Liquid Automation included a remote monitoring appliance to provide pro-active support for our systems. With this device and a remote access PC mounted in the rack, Liquid Automation can remotely check for the health of all systems and to upload programming changes.
