The system we have designed for The Beast, will allow guests and crew to select from a number of various audio and video sources, via portable touch panels across the boat.
This will be complimented by a robust Wi-Fi network to allow highly reliable wireless internet and network access for guests and crew.
Control
Comprised of a Crestron Series-3 processor and a 16×16 Digital Media Matrix, the system will provide reliable control and instant switching of the numerous audio and video sources to the displays and speakers across the boat.
There will be a mix of Crestron touch panels and iPad mini’s, providing a control interface for users to interact with to select their desired source.
The back end will be managed by a couple of enterprise grade network switches and a managed Ruckus Wi-Fi system.
Audio/Visual
The Beast has no shortage of sources that will become available to guests and crew on-board.
In total there will be 14 video sources, 2 network sources and 11 sources of audio running through a Crestron Audio Distribution Amp.
Security
Comprising of ten high resolution IP cameras across the boat including a rugged PTZ on the mast, there will be ample coverage for the captain and crew to keep tabs on the exterior for security while in transit or docked.
