Audio Visual

The home’s audio-visual system comprises eight zones, with seven additional zones throughout the property that are cabled for the future possibility of installing speakers and televisions. The Nuvo music server facilitates access to internet radio and Spotify online streaming music services, which can be controlled via an application.

The Media Room (Living Room) is equipped with five distinct TruAudio in-ceiling speakers and a TruAudio subwoofer. This area is ideal for gathering family and friends for movie nights.

Security & Access Control

This residence is equipped with a robust security system that encompasses the garage door, pedestrian gate, and main front door. Additionally, it includes the garage side door. The system allows for the setting and unsetting of the alarm based on the time of day. Furthermore, it incorporates both intrusion detection and smoke/heat detection capabilities.

Lighting Control

Lighting control is provided by Lutron, enabling comprehensive lighting control for all primary living areas and outdoor spaces. The lighting control system offers a ‘Welcome Home’ setting that activates the following lighting fixtures: Exterior Front, Garage Fluorescents, Stairwell, Entryway, Hallway, Living Room, Kitchen, with the initial three fixtures deactivating after a five-minute interval.

Additionally, the lighting system includes a setting for the scullery, which automatically turns off the associated lighting when the area is unoccupied.

Throughout the house, there are strategically placed lighting keypads that allow users to access and control specific ‘scenes’ within each area.

Network

A comprehensive data network was installed, comprising Ruckus Wireless Access Points. Given the reliance of all systems on network connectivity, a robust wired and wireless network was imperative for this property.
