Control

This house features a combination of Crestron wired and wireless touch screens and in wall lighting keypads. In addition, there is a one-page app for iPhone that allows users to adjust the pool control from 20°C to 26°C and turn on the hot water cylinder/underfloor heater remotely. On top of this, there is a display that shows the water level in both irrigation and potable water tanks. 

Audio Visual system

Crestron Sonnex is primarily used to distribute and amplify audio, including over ten sources of stereo audio distributed across 12 zones. The myriad of speakers around the house consists of:

• 1.       In-ceiling custom wood grain painted speakers

• 2.       In-wall & in-ceiling sub-woofers

• 3.       Discrete large-format Rock speakers

The video distribution system uses a Crestron Digital Media 8x 8 matrix to distribute high-definition video to all displays. All TV zones have access to all Crestron Digital Media sources. Whenever a source is watching by another user, a message is displayed beside the selectable source button, helping you to know what is currently in use or to watch different sources together in different rooms.

Home Cinema

An 8k screen complemented with dual in-wall subwoofers and an in-wall/ceiling surround system.

Pool Control

Temperature monitoring, temperature setpoints, swimming pool all from the convenience of the Crestron touch panels and mobile app.

Hydronic Heating

Connected to the home Automation utilising a graphical floor plan of the house simple hydronic heating control can either be intuitively controlled or automated via the alarm system

Rack Monitoring and Remote Notifications

All devices in this project are monitored from our Liquid Automation monitoring system. This alerts Liquid Automation staff to any network disconnects and faults throughout the system.

The network in this home is very comprehensive and feeds almost every device in the system.

Fire Detection, Security & Access Control

Throughout the house, there is an extensive fire and intruder detection system with integrated Access control automation. Once any door is opened the alarm system is disarmed, Welcome home lights turn on and the HVAC system turns on. For arming the house there is two modes “Long” and “Short”. Selecting “Long” turns off all underfloor heating, Hot water, AV, Lighting HVAC and lowers the pool temperature to 20°C. “Short” mode just turns off the AV and lighting throughout the house.

CCTV

Around the property, there are cameras that can be viewed on either the in-wall Crestron touch panel or mobile application.

Lighting Control / Window Treatments

Throughout the house in the main areas, there is a combination of Crestron lighting and Lutron Blind and custom Curtain tracks

Water Tank Monitoring

Both the irrigation and water tanks are visible from the wall-mounted touch panel along with email alerts available to be sent at set levels.

Remote Mobile App

One page iPad app to monitor water tanks, etc and turn on / off the house remotely.
