The Reserve Estate

Project Information:

Liquid Automation had the chance to design and build new systems for the Reserve Estate.

For this specific property the focus relied among others on environmentally friendly systems such as water supply and smart street lighting systems.

Automation

  • Smart Street Lighting

  • Pumping Station Monitoring

  • Potable Water Supply

  • Smart LCD Video Intercom

  • CCTV Security

Features

Smart Street Lighting

  • Gate lighting turns on via an astronomical clock and will illuminate from sunset to 10:00pm.

  • Gate signage lighting turns on via an astronomical clock and illuminates from sunset to sunrise.

  • Lights will only turn on when a car drives down each road for a set period. This will save community power costs and light pollution to other residence.

Pumping Station Monitoring

Integrating our Liquid Cloud Solution provides a simple platform for updating price per volume amounts as well as viewing Realtime and historical graphs. Billing and reports can be automatically sent to an administrator, or straight to home owners for a reduction in on-going over heads.

Potable Water Supply

Each house has their water usage individually recorded and reported for individual billing.

Smart LCD Video Intercom

Both property gates were fitted with the following functionalities:

  • The intercom has a dynamic LCD touch screen. Homeowners and visitors can ring Lot names or type a code for access.

  • From an optional mobile app their phone will be alerted when their gate intercom is selected. They can then talk to guests and let them in – from anywhere in the world. This is a useful feature for courier deliveries.

  • Lot access codes and names can be remotely managed by Liquid and changed instantly.

CCTV Security

A total of 12 cameras were installed. Camera footage can either be monitored via a remote monitoring station for real time monitoring or via the homeowner’s touch panel.

These cameras additionally offer:

  • Plate recognition at entrance gates (connected to NZ police database)

  • Video Recording back up for a month
